New FarmVille Parisian Trees and Animals: Cocoa Truffle Tree, Merens Pony & Marans Chicken

Zynga still had some Parisian-themed items to release in FarmVille, even though we would’ve been happy with the release of the Super Crops only. But since generally more is better and this is such a case, we are happy to get a bunch of new goodies in FarmVille: Cocoa Truffle Tree, Big Cocoa Truffle, Merens Pony & Marans Chicken! Here are the images and details:
- FarmVille Cocoa Truffle Tree – 5 Farm Cash
- FarmVille Big Cocoa Truffle – 10 Farm Cash
- FarmVille Merens Pony – 24 Farm Cash
- FarmVille Marans Chicken – 20 Farm Cash
Not a huge surprise to see that all of these new items are Farm Cash only items. But the question still remains: will you purchase any?
FarmVille Summer Goal III: The Turtle Derby

The Turtle Derby is the third goal in the new Summer-themed series of missions in FarmVille, and one that gives you a sneak peek of a new feature released in the game, Turtle Racing. But before we get there, let’s just see what are the requirements for completing the Turtle Derby goal in FarmVille:
- Get 8 Racing Stripes
- Harvest 100 Spinach
- Buy 2 Trees
The requirements are not that difficult, especially because after completing the Cool It! mission in FarmVille, you will get the following super-cool rewards:
- The option to check out an in-game video about a new feature that is available in the game, Turtle Racing (more about this in another article, so stay tuned!)
- 500 XP
- 5,000 Farm Coins
- 1 Turtle Box (which gives you a random racing turtle)
Pretty nice, right?
FarmVille Summer Goal II: Cool It!

Cool It! is the second goal in the new Summer-themed mission series released in FarmVille today and it’s a mission you must complete in the next couple of weeks, otherwise it expires. And you shouldn’t let it go because the reward for completing it is really awesome!
But until I tell you about the rewards, let’s see what are the requirements for completing the Cool It! goal in FarmVille:
- Get 6 Electric Fans.
- Harvest 100 Habanero Chillis.
- Buy 1 Water Pump.
The requirements are not that difficult, especially because after completing the Cool It! mission in FarmVille, you will get the following super-cool rewards:
- 200 XP
- 2,500 Farm Coins
- 1 FarmVille Beach Ball Ram (new&cool animal)
FarmVille Summer Goal I: Summer Picnic

Zynga has released a brand new series of goals in FarmVille, the Summer Goal series and I am really glad to share with you all the details about them individually. The first in the series of three new Summer themed missions in FarmVille is titled Summer Picnic and you have all the details below:
- Get 6 Picnic Blankets
- Buy 1 BBQ Grill
- Harvest 50 Strawberries
The reward has the potential to upset some farmers and really delight others:
- 100 XP
- 1,000 Farm Coins
- FarmVille High Dive Duck (this was a decoration available for Farm Cash in the 7-Eleven event)
So are you upset to see the High Five Duck decoration as a prize or happy because you don’t have it on your farm?
FarmVille Chateau and Camargue Horse Complete the Parisian Theme Today

There are two more items that we can purchase in order to turn our FarmVille farms in real French delights: the FarmVille Chateau (a new house) and the Camargue Horse – a new animal. Below you can check out all the details about these two new limited edition items.
FarmVille Chateau – 60 Farm Cash (you probably remember this since it was previously released in the game and certainly Zynga liked it so much that they decided to bring it back to the game):

Farmville Rainbow Animals in Mystery Game

Farmville released a new Mystery Game full of rainbows. This Mystery Game will cost you more than you are used to. Instead of the usual 16 Farm Cash you will have to pay 20 Farm Cash per Dart and you’ll get 5 XP. However, this will not necessarily mean you will win one of the prizes but you will have more chances if you play than if you don’t.
To know what you will miss if you don’t play take a look at this beautiful creatures:
- FarmVille Rainbow Lorikeet (Common)
- FarmVille Rainbow Rabbit (Common)
- FarmVille Rainbow Panda (Uncommon)
- FarmVille Rainbow Pony (Uncommon)

You will also have 10 Days to win them all, instead of 7 as you usually have.

FarmVille Crafting Silo Is Finally Here!

There were rumors regarding a crafting silo coming sooner or later in FarmVille and these rumors were true: today Zynga has introduced the Crafting Silo in FarmVille and you can be one of the first persons to use it! The Crafting Silo will automatically take special items from the farm when you harvest trees and animals (Manure, Yarn, Milk and so on) then send them over to the craftshop to create brand new goodies for your farm. Even better, all these new crafting recipes will have mastery attached to them!
How to build your Crafting Silo in FarmVille?
As with other structures in the game, there are three stages of the Crafting Silo (first one only holds 50 items, for example), but you need to collect new construction materials for the building of the silo:
- Screwdriver
- Hinge
- Tin Sheet
SO overall, here is a general overview of the new Crafting Silo feature in FarmVille:
Find Crafting Ingredients
Have a chance to find crafting ingredients every time you harvest cows, sheep, pigs, apple trees, lemon trees, walnut trees and maple trees. Harvest more to increase your chances!
Crafting Store Ingredients
Your crafted silo comes with a limited amount of storage space of 10, but you can expand your silo to increase its capacity up to 50. Not to mention, you can build your silos on both home and your English Countryside Farm, which means you can get up to 100 storage! Whoa!
Ask For Help
Ask for friends to send you missing crafting ingredients every 4 hours.
Using Crafting Ingredients
Use crafting ingredients to make stuff you need in the Craftshop and get Mastery signs when you do.

New Ribbon in FarmVille: Looking Fresh

If you care about the looks of your avatar in FarmVille, it’s worth noting that Zynga cares too. Therefore, they have released a new ribbon for you to complete in FarmVille, the Looking Fresh ribbon.
It is a bit unclear, though, how this new ribbon is awarded. According to it’s description, in order to get the Looking Fresh Yellow Ribbon, you have to “change your avatar clothes once a day”, for three days in a row. Even more, it appears that you actually need to buy new clothes from the market, and not simply change your clothes with something you already own.
Having in mind that you can earn the other ribbons for changing your clothes for 7, 10 and 20 days in a row, it seems a bit steep. But maybe it’s just a bug and you’ll be allowed to change your clothes in the inventory – as we’d all like it to be.

FarmVille Holiday Tree Is Back! Read the Guide Here!

It’s time to prepare for Christmas in FarmVille, which means that it’s time to prepare the 2010 FarmVille Holiday Tree that was just released by Zynga in the game. Read on to find out all the details about the FarmVille Holiday Tree and a complete guide for this Christmas Tree in FarmVille!
You’ll get your little Holiday Tree free the first time you play FarmVille after the update, and you will immediately be entered into Placement Mode. You can place the Holiday Tree on your farm now, or you can choose to place it in your Gift Box for use later. You’ll need to be level 5 or higher in order to place and use the Holiday Tree.
Once the FarmVille Christmas Tree is on the farm you can click on it, then select “Look Inside” to see this window:
The Holiday Tree works like many of our other item-gathering style events in FarmVille. You acquire Holiday_tree07 Holiday Gifts through various methods, then “Use” them to put them underneath your Holiday Tree. As you accumulate Holiday Gifts under your Tree you can redeem them for exclusive prizes like the “Frozen Fence” or “Icicle Arch”.
You can acquire Holiday Gifts by:
- Harvesting your (or your neighbor’s) Winter Workshop.
- Requesting a Holiday Gift from your neighbors directly (by clicking on the “Ask for Gifts” button).
- Receive a Holiday Gift from a neighbor who uses the Free Gifts page.
- Purchase 5 Holiday Gifts at a time by clicking on the “Buy Gifts” button (for 5 Farm Cash).
- Click on a Holiday Gift-related feed where you can receive a Holiday Gift.
As you put Holiday Gifts underneath the tree you’ll see candy cane meter on the left fill up. The physical look of the Holiday Tree on your farm also changes depending on how many Holiday Gifts you put into it. Here is how the fully grown Christmas Tree looks like:
You can also click on the “Comparison” tab to compare how many Holiday Gifts you’ve accumulated with your neighbors.
To get one of the special exclusive prizes, simply click on the “Redeem” button next to the prize you want—if you have enough Holiday Gifts (the available number of Holiday Gifts is at the top of the window) you’ll be asked to confirm the purchase. If you hit “Accept” the prize will be stored in your Gift Box. That’s where the fun begins!
Doling out the Presents
Right when you Redeem a Holiday Gift for a prize, you have the new option of sharing that in the form of Holiday Presents for up to five of your FarmVille friends (the exact number depends on the prize):
You’ll then be taken to a window where you can choose which of your friends you want to send the Present to.
The next time that friend logs in, they will see a message stating they received that Present. They won’t know what it is (but they’ll know who it is from). You can see how many Presents you’ve received, and from whom, by clicking on the “Presents” tab in the Holiday Tree window. All Presents will be available to open on December 25, so be sure to come back to the Holiday Tree window then to dig in.
If you wind up selling the Holiday Tree for some reason, you can purchase a new one in the Market for 1 coin. After January 6, 2011, you will not be able to give Holiday Gifts via the Free Gifts page, the “Ask For Parts” button will be disabled, and you won’t be able to purchase the Holiday Tree or Holiday Gifts in the Market.
This is just the beginning of our Holiday Tree event, however—we’ve got a few more surprises up our sleeves. Stay tuned!

Farmville Train is out Tonight!

<PLEASE SHARE! The Farmville Train has just been released in tonights update, and I couldn’t be more excited! I will for sure be placing this around the whole edge of my farm as I just love how it looks. It doesn’t function and I would have liked that better, but still this is just too neat! Will you guys be picking one up?
